This charger/inverter combination (ICC) from BÜTTNER ELEKTRONIK is the universal power supply for touring vehicles. The devices have been specially developed for mobile use and combine an automatic charger and sine wave inverter. All the demands placed on modern motorhomes have been taken into account. When shore power is applied, the automatic charger starts automatically and charges the on-board batteries depending on the battery type and capacity (both adjustable) and, if necessary, also the starter battery. If the shore power input is weakly fused, the devices can be limited. If high starting currents are required (e.g. air conditioning), these are made available from the on-board battery for a short time.
This task is performed by the integrated sine wave inverter. It can handle very high loads and is equipped with automatic mains switching. As long as shore power is available, it is switched to the interior sockets. If no external power source is available, the inverter supplies the sockets with power. It also has integrated load detection to switch the inverter to power-saving mode if it is not used for a longer period of time.
The scope of delivery includes a remote control for the interior (cable length 5 m). This is used to start the inverter and can be switched to automatic/permanent/night mode. It also indicates whether shore power is present and the current power output of the inverter.
The MT ICC 1600 is supplied ready for connection with a battery cable (1.5 m). With the MT ICC 3000, the connection cable must be made as required.
