On the one hand, they are the ideal thermal insulation for winter vacations, and on the other, they offer effective protection from the sun's rays in summer.
The lightweight, approx. 20 mm thick inner insulation made of polyester fibers keeps the heat inside. The window mats are simply attached by hanging the pockets in the slightly open doors and fastened using the rubber tensioners provided.
The door pockets are size-adjustable in the Ducato from model year 2006 and also fit when a blackout system is fitted.
A new feature is the LUX-DUO insulated lower section, which can be connected to the LUX upper section by means of an integrated Velcro strip along the top of the mat, thus creating a 2-part THERMOISOLATION. Once fitted, both connected parts can be removed together and reattached later.
The insulated LUX-DUO lower section creates a large area of external insulation that reaches down to the floor and significantly increases living comfort during your winter vacation. It protects against draughts from the uninsulated engine compartment, wheel arches and cab doors.
The material is identical to the window mat, but the insulation is thinner to save volume during the journey. The fixed wind deflector protects against draughts underneath the cab.
