More and more motorhome owners are deciding to convert and use lithium batteries. The RKB BASIC lithium battery was developed with the aim of replacing lead batteries and fully meeting the high demands placed on storage batteries today. The advantages of using these batteries in motorhomes are their performance, low weight and long service life. These are ideal prerequisites if you want to be self-sufficient when traveling with your motorhome - independent of any power sockets.
The batteries have lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells, which are considered to be very safe and cycle-resistant. In addition, the battery is protected against overcurrent, overcharging, deep discharge, short circuits and overtemperature by an integrated BMS.

Note on the procedure for taking back old batteries: According to the "Ordinance on the Return and Disposal of Waste Batteries"
- rechargeable batteries and batteries must never be disposed of with normal residual waste.
- Batteries containing hazardous substances must be returned to a distributor or to collection points set up for this purpose by the public waste disposal authorities.
