The 3-piece set consists of approx. 8 mm thick foam insulation, which is covered with a polyester velour towards the living area to create a pleasant room atmosphere.
The outer surface is coated with an aluminized polyester film that reflects the sun's rays and helps to keep the heat out in summer. The insulation is flush with the window contours.
The front darkening is attached using the enclosed brackets. These must be inserted once between the windshield and the A-pillars and connected to the magnets sewn to the back of the mat. There is also a tab on the upper edge of the mat, which is clamped between the sun visors and the roof lining.
In vehicles without interior darkening (OV), the door window mats are also attached using welded-in magnets.
On vehicles with built-in interior darkening (MV), the door window mats are inserted between the frame construction of the darkening system and the window. They seal all around.
Due to the design, there are tiny flashes of light in the corners of the lower edge of the front protection mat.
The insulating mats can be rolled up and stored in a PE carrying bag (included in the scope of delivery).
