The free step - an additional step - reduces the height difference by approx. 20 cm to just approx. 26 cm.
The steps themselves can be adjusted and adapted vertically to the respective vehicle construction. This is achieved by means of continuous vertical longitudinal profiles on the underside of each step. This means that the steps can be individually adapted to the different vehicle structures, such as those of caravans and camping vehicles. The individual step measures (LxWxH) 79 x 13 x 8 cm and is made of a highly stable aluminum profile. Each of the short ends has a firmly screwed, rounded and impact-resistant safety plastic cover. An anti-slip profile is incorporated into the surface of the aluminum component. This profiling ensures safe entry and exit.
The free step is firmly bolted to and under the vehicle upright using the vehicle-specific stainless steel brackets supplied. The design of the brackets ensures a subsequent load capacity of at least 140 kg per step.
