This compact and highly efficient onboard charger for the caravan and motorhome market was developed and completely built in Germany.
The needs of the modern camper, who demands high charging performance but wants silent charging without annoying fan noise, were taken into account.
The ingenious shape of the housing with its cooling fins ensures that the temperature on the surface does not rise above the permissible values, even during continuous charging.
Specially designed for CAMPERDICE and Powerboozt lithium iron phosphate batteries, it can nevertheless also be adjusted for LiFePO4 batteries from other manufacturers as well as for liquid acid lead batteries, GEL, AGM batteries and spiral cell batteries (Optima). Switching takes place immediately after plugging in the mains voltage and only needs to be done once.
A temperature sensor supplied ensures that the lithium battery is not charged with the full charging current when charging at sub-zero temperatures and could therefore be destroyed.
With lead batteries, the charging voltage is adapted to the temperature.
