The WA 121525 booster is used for optimum charging of 12 V lead-acid, lead-gel, AGM and lithium batteries while driving (regardless of the alternator voltage).

The use of a booster is essential for alternators with energy-saving charging strategies (Euro 6), as the charging voltage fluctuates greatly (12.6 - 15.0 V). In the case of conventional alternators, the use of the WA 121525 booster also improves the charging of the living area battery. For AGM batteries, which require a charging voltage of 14.7 V, the use of a booster is essential. The WA 121525 booster is a clocked step-up/step-down converter that compensates for the fluctuating alternator voltage and provides a high charging current.
