The Blue Smart IP22 battery charger is the wireless solution for monitoring voltage and current, adjusting settings and updating the charger when new features become available.
High efficiency: With an efficiency of 93%, these chargers generate up to four times less heat compared to the industry standard. Furthermore, once the battery is fully charged, power consumption drops to less than 0.5 watts, which is around five to ten times better than the industry standard.
Adaptive 6-stage charging algorithm: The Blue Smart charger is characterized by its microprocessor-controlled, "adaptive" battery management. "Adaptive" means that the charging process is automatically adapted to the type of battery usage.
Storage mode: Storage mode is always activated if the battery has not been discharged within 24 hours. The float charge voltage is lowered to minimize gas development and prevent corrosion. Once a week, the voltage is increased to the gassing voltage level. This prevents premature battery failure.

The NIGHT and LOW settings:
If the device is in NIGHT or LOW mode, the output current is reduced to a maximum of 25% of the nominal output and the charger operates absolutely silently.
Protection against overheating: The output current is reduced if the temperature rises up to 50 °C, but the Blue Smart charger does not fail.
