ASS heating tape. ASS = Defrost Super Fast, defrosts frozen waste water pipes and valves quickly and reliably when winter camping; works with 12 V on-board voltage, i.e. independent of external energy. The defrosting times are pleasingly short; at 70 W, the battery load is relatively low. The defrosting time (5 to max. 60 min.) depends on the length and diameter of the drain pipe and the prevailing sub-zero temperatures.
